“Domenichelli Masonry has been doing business with Wheeler Zamaroni since 1996, when they started to supply masonry materials. We have found them to be an incomparable source for our masonry materials as well as a very fine group of people to do business with. We have made some life-long friends and will continue to get our materials from Wheeler Zamaroni.”

Harvest for the Hungry Garden
“Thank you for your generous donation of raised bed mix for our School House and Youth Leaders Program. We are grateful for your donation, which will support the School House and Youth Leaders as they undertake a new gardening project, through which they will gain basic carpentry skills, and will learn about gardening and healthy nutrition as they grow, tend and harvest their own garden – the vegetables from which will be used in the preparation of daily snacks and meals. Thank you again for your contribution and for your commitment to Home Away’s mission and work.”

Louie Zamaroni

Louie Zamaroni began working at the family quarry in 1976 in addition to his career as a Santa Rosa firefighter. He was instrumental in the incorporation of the Zamaroni Quarry in 1981. The partnership he formed between Zamaroni Quarry and Wheeler Supply lasted for 2 years before Zamaroni Quarry bought Wheeler Supply. Keeping the name and forging a partnership with Wheeler Zamaroni Vice President, Arnie Tognozzi, in 1988 the two created Wheeler Zamaroni Building Materials and Landscape Supplies.

Louie maintains an active daily involvement in both the administration and the marketing of their growing company. Under Louie's guidance, and with help from partner Arnie, Wheeler Zamaroni has grown in both sales and size, currently employing 35 dedicated individuals.

Louie takes an active part in the community, and belongs to many organizations such as the Italian-American Club and the Young Men's Institute. Additionally, Wheeler Zamaroni is a member of the North Bay Builder’s Exchange, the California Chamber of Commerce, the California Farm Bureau, and the California Landscape Contractors’ Association.

In his off time, Louie can be found out on the water wake-boarding with his two sons and his wife of 23 years.

Arnie Tognazzi

Arnie Tognozzi began his career with Wheeler Zamaroni in 1985 at Zamaroni Quarry Inc. In 1988 he and Louie Zamaroni formed a partnership to start Wheeler Zamaroni Building Materials and Landscape Supplies. Together they created a full service landscape and building material supply company that has grown from a small, two-person operation to the thriving, successful 35-employee company it is today.

Arnie oversees the bulk of the operations, including transportation and yard operations. Arnie also works with some of the most prestigious wholesale nursery companies throughout Northern California developing customized nursery mixes and maintaining ongoing quality control.

In addition to his responsibilities at Wheeler Zamaroni, Arnie enjoys spending time with his wife of 27 years and his 3 sons, as well as working his 5 acre vineyard.
