THE CHALLENGE: Deliver fresh concrete to a federal project on an island in the San Francisco Bay before it starts to set.
THE SOLUTION: Due to the island's location, a normal rotating drum mixer truck would not be able to transport concrete to the job site without the concrete setting up. Being one of the only companies in Northern California with a mobile mix unit, Wheeler Zamaroni was able to have the truck barged across the bay to pour fresh concrete in this remote area.
